Cimmaron Lops

Creating a Holland Lop show herd
in distinctive colors.

We think the whole palate of colors that the lops breeds
have available to them should be used. We love quality
Holland Lops in dressed in coats of many colors!

We have been working very hard in the dilute color palate,
since moving to Kansas in March of '08. We are pleased
with our Blues, Opals and Blue Torts and have been getting
a few Creams as well. We now have our first Lilac Tort as
well. Our current herd buck Cimmaron Refrigerator had
his first BOSV leg win at his first show.

In our Chocolate Family Hollands, besides Chocolate and Lilac we are exploring
the lovely shades of Tortoise in Chocolate and Lilac.

Our Shaded family just took off with a great jump start when we started getting
Smoke Pearls out of our lovley little herd buck Cimmaron Ilya. It was a pleasent surpise.
Plus we are expecting a new arrive from Linda Swan's wonderful
Holland herd - a Sable Point Point in May.

We do have wide band family of Torts the freely provides us with Blue Torts as well as Black Torts.

Our Velveteen Lops

We have had a very nice herd of Velveteen Lops but with the "across 4 states move"
in March '08 and Gail now holding the first COD in Lionheads we left most behind
with our old friend Jen Langanier in Minnesota. We did take a lovely black buck
with us because we thought he was sold for delivery in May at Columbus. The
buyer was a no show and he was simply so very, very nice ...... well you know
how it goes. So we picked up a girlfriend for him when we went home for the state
fair. He is sired by our favorite Velveteen buck Mace Windu and has
16 1/2" ears while staying in size at 6 pounds.
We have named him Cimmaron Superglue,
since he seemed determined to "stick" with us.
