We only breed only from PUREBRED double mane gened (2XM) Lionheads.
We are VERY selective in what bloodlines we use.

These are our brood does. Each was selected for conformation, pedigree and color.
We have extremely high standards when we select does to add to our breeding herd. We
look to each doe to see if they have the type mane and color that will work with our existing
breeding program. If they past those criteria we always look at pedigree because
bloodlines and quality will always tell - one way or the other.

If a doe has kindled a litter or two here at Cimmaron we expect that she will produce at least
as good quality in her offspring as buck she is bred too and hope to see improvement. If a doe
cannot do that or she has poor mothering qualities she will be removed form the herd.

We only have a limited number of cages and overtime we decide to keep a young doe and
put her into our breeding herd we have to remove an older doe, so occasionally these ladies
may be available for placement
