Currently all of our Lionhead bucks are purebred.
We try and only use bucks that are 2XM - double mane gened - as sires.
We are very selective in the bucks we choose to keep and use as herd sires.
We feel that each one has very positive traits to offer to the Lionhead breed
and our breeding program.

Beacon is our next hopeful young
show buck. He has excellent body
type and is showing some wonderful
length to his wool. His sire, Cimmaron Lionheart, was 10th place in the 2007 Statler Class (in a field of 18) as well
as a multi BOB winner.

His mom,Wetzel's Dixie Chic, was 3rd place Jr doe at ARBA Convention in TX. We are hoping this will be the combination Wetzel/Cimmaron buck we have been looking for.

Rohan is sired by Cimmaron Lionheart who is the result of a
breeding of two lovely Lionheads we bought back from our own bloodlines
after the fire - both proved to be multiple BOB winners.

Bryron is one of the last babies born here from the cute little
buck from Diane Ostrem - DJ's Affairs of the Heart who is now
back in CA at Cole Rabbitry. Affairs brings the classic FireBear
lines and look along with nice small size. Bryron's mom is
Cimmaron Snow Angel who is classic Cimmaron breeding all the way back. Angel is also very small and we are hoping that Bryron will be a nice size reducer in our herd bucks.
